We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment at Hyundai Mobis. The ideal candidate will work directly with Maintennace management to provide support of the Production process.

Responsibilities

Role(s) - Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, supporting structures, and electrical systems of assembly line manufacturing operations by performing the following duties. 

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
  • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
  • Fabricates and repairs assembly line support structures such as guards, platforms, lift devices, and related equipment.
  • Conduct routine PM checks and log activity.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience:  5+ years preferred

Education: Associate degree (AA/AS) 

Degree Field: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering 

 

A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

Certified/Technical Skills:

  1. Knowledge of Siemens PLC
  2. Electrical Controls
  3. Basic Understanding of Mechanical drawings

Additional/Other:

 

  1. PC literate, including Microsoft Office Products
  2. Motor Controls
  3. Intermediate PLC Programming and Troubleshooting
