We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced environment at Hyundai Mobis. The ideal candidate will work directly with Maintennace management to provide support of the Production process.

Responsibilities

Role(s) - Supervises and coordinates multi-craft activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools by performing the following duties.

  • Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
  • Requisitions and maintains supply of spare parts.
  • Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
  • Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Maintains time and production records.
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
  • Supports planning and implementation of PM systems.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Experience: 3+ years

Managerial Experience: 0-3 years   

Education: High School Diploma/GED required, AA/AS or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Degree Field: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering

Equivalent Experience/Education: 3+ years in maintenance in the automotive/manufacturing industry

Communication Skills: Intermediate

Foreign Language Required: No.  If yes, what language? N/A

Foreign Language Skill Level: N/A

Mathematical Skills: Intermediate

 

Certified/Technical Skills

  • N/A

 

Additional/Other Requirements

  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office Product
  • Advance knowledge of PLC Programming
  • Advance knowledge of CAD Design
  • Advance knowledge of MES system
  • SAP Experience
