Accomplish day-to-day tactical objectives in support of company and department goals. Key duties and responsibilities overview:

• Ensure Production Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs.
• Ensure that product defects are repaired, minimized, and returned to proper location.
• Monitor production inventory levels and communicate with material handling.
• Utilize all quality tools and support (TQM) total-quality-management within the workplace.
• Monitor and inspect incoming material to production line to ensure non-defective.
• Recommend disciplinary action for production associates who do not follow company and safety policies.
• Expected participation in MGA (Training Team) activities.
• Train production team members on multiple shifts and across all lines to assure quality modules are being produced in a safe and collaborative work environment.
• Utilize solid background in manufacturing to maintain productivity of manufacturing environment regulations concerning material standards, safety, and quality. 
• Establish activities directed toward production continuity and balance to meet customer expectations through continuous training and testing.
• Maintains accurate training/testing documentation on each trainee.
• Coordinates and integrates with other plant function areas to ensure support in establishing training protocol and procedures.
• Organizes, trains, and motivates the production labor force to ensure consistent attainment of customer delivery at optimum productivity and quality levels.
• Recommend improvements in production flow or methods in conjunction with PE and Quality departments.
• Collaborate with Management to evaluate the overall training and development of team members.
• Collaborate with online team members on how to improve the process.
• Implement evaluations/assessments for line performance and skill set level.
• Ensure the appropriate managers are aware of the training requirements for team members and scheduling requirements.
• Provide training to team members to introduce new processes and new system features before they are implemented into production.
• Review all Work Standards to look for opportunities to improve instructions to ensure complete understanding of work task requirements through improved visuals and verbiage. Standards must reflect actual work performed online by team members.
• Work with Supervisors to identify training or coaching opportunities through analysis of FTQ, FTTQ, DT and OS&D.
• Perform time studies to identify line balance and operator operation improvements.
• Recertify skill level of established Mobis team members yearly.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Experience: 3+ years

Education: High School diploma/GED required

Degree Field: N/A

Equivalent Experience/Education: 3-5 years of production experience in manufacturing/automotive environment

• Able to work (OT) overtime as needed to meet production. Must be able to change shifts as required
